Our Club has financially supported the following organizations:

Playground Equipment: For Riverside P.S., John Mahood P.S., St. Teresa's Separate School and Floradale P.S.

Woolwich Agricultural Society 4-H Dairy

Woolwich Youth Soccer

Woolwich Minor Hockey

Elmira Girl Guides

Elmira Scouts and Venturers

Woolwich Interfaith Counselling Services

Woolwich Community Services - For general programs.

Elmira Pool Swim Program

Elmira Youth Drop-In Centre

Drug Education in Schools Program - Through the Waterloo Regional Police.

Kiwanis Transit - Transportation is provided for those unable to drive themselves in Elmira, Woolwich and Wellesley Townships.

Kid Read Program - We donated $500 to each of the following schools for books: John Mahood, Riverside, Park Manor Senior and St. Teresa's each of the last two years. This year we added Floradale to the list.

Elmira Kiwanis Music Festival - We organize the week long event and provide partial funding. Donations have been provided by many local businesses.

Kiwanis Goodwill Food Drive - We collected food items and donations in Breslau, Conestogo, Elmira, Heidelberg, West Montrose and Winterbourne. This collection provides over 80% of the food items to make Christmas food hampers for families in need of assistance.

West Montrose Carol Sing -This event is held at the West Montrose Covered Bridge. It is led by the Elmira Kiwanis. Hot drinks and cookies are provided. Price of admission is a cash donation or non-perishable food items for the Goodwill Food Drive.

Woolwich Memorial Centre - Hydrotherapy Pool - Elmira Kiwanis has pledged $150,000 over the next five years. Construction of the WMC is to be completed by September 2009.

Pride Stables - A riding program for physically and mentally challenged children.

Grand River Hospital Neonatal Unit - We have donated over $100,000 in the past seven years for equipment for new born children.
