Elmira Maple Syrup Festival - It is one of the largest one-day maple syrup festivals in the world. We run a food booth at the festival. We sell our famous potato pancakes (the only ones to do so), sausages, schnitzel on a bun and fries.

weekdays from 9 AM to 5 PM.

Elmira Street Dance - The Elmira Business Improvement Association organizes this event. It's held every year on the first Saturday after the Civic Holiday weekend. This is sort of a wrap up to the Sidewalk Sale that takes place Thursday to Saturday of the same week. This event is a “Thank You” to the Elmira community for patronizing the local merchants. The Kiwanis along with the Knights of Columbus provide the manpower for set up and take down and some back up security if required. All proceeds from the night are put into a pot and divided equally. We usually provide 10 people for our portion and we make about $1,500.00.

Fergus Truck Show - It is the largest Truck Show in North America. Every year the Grand Harmony Chorus (which counts Mary Adams, Joyce Ireson, Phyllis Chapman, Jackie Stewart and two other girls among its members) works at the Fergus Truck which is held the last weekend of July to earn funds for the chorus. The chorus cannot fill all the hours assigned to it so they fill those extra hours with friends from the Overtones Chorus in Guelph and the Elmira Kiwanis members. Some of the Kiwanis members work for the club so the club receives funds from the event.

Wellesley Apple Butter and Cheese Festival - This festival is held the last Saturday in September in Wellesley Ontario. We run a food booth at the festival selling potato pancakes, schnitzel on a bun, hot dogs and fries.

Elmira Kiwanis Santa Claus Parade - For the first time our club hosted the Santa Claus Parade. It was held Saturday, December 6, 2008 from 10 AM until 11:30 AM.

Beat Rocks the Block - Put on by 91.4 the Beat radio station. It is held the last Saturday of July. We run a food booth at this event. This may become an annual event for us.
